More about Perseverance:
Creating support for families who care for children in foster care. This past year, my Mother and I received an emergency placement phone call. We were notified of three siblings who were in need of a home within the next five hours.
The idea is a “Check-Out Storage Unit.” In situations like emergency placements, foster families. With the “Check-Out Storage Unit” foster families will have easy access to all of the necessities their new family will need. This idea will become a reality from the proceeds of the Second Annual Field Day Festival Event. Our goal of the event is to bring surrounding communities together through games, live music, food, and much more. Perseverance Organization’s goal is to raise $2,600. The proceeds will go towards buying ten car seats, ten strollers and five cribs to fill the storage unit.
I wish to inspire our community members who have faced challenges to see the light and persevere. My dream will become reality, I will make it happen, but I need you. Together we can make a positive impact on our community by supporting the children and families in need.
