We need a volunteer coordinator!

If you have 25 hours a week on your hands, love the Gunks and are an organizational whiz kid, we are looking for you.

WE need someone who can coordinate roughly 50 volunteers for our one day 108 mile Grand Fondo Bike Ride. Job begins now. Ride is September 23rd.

Tasks include:

. Soliciting and tracking volunteers for the day of

. Working with the planning committee to map out where we will need
volunteers, how many and when over the course of the ride

. Making sure all volunteers know where and when to arrive, sign in
and go for their shifts

. Attending bi-weekly planning meetings

. Answering questions, coordinating and being available the day of
the ride

. Processing and evaluating for next year

We also need volunteers for the day of:

We will need between 50 volunteers for the day of the ride.

Tasks include:

. Helping at turns and intersections to ensure riders stay on route

. Help with registration and parking

. Staffing of aid stations – handing out water and snacks, chatting,
pointing people in the right direction, and cleaning up after riders

. Clean up at the end of the day – removal of road signs, clean up
of aid stations, removal of recycling and garbage
