The Hudson Valley Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program seeks caring individuals to help identify and resolve the concerns of residents living in Hudson Valley Nursing Homes and Assisted Living Facilities. For Dutchess and Ulster County Residents – the five (5) day training session will be from 9:30 AM to 4 PM on May 25, 27, June 1, 3 & 8 at Marist College. 229-4680, Ext. 104. More info.

Alzheimer’s Association
Volunteer at our office and help man our Helpline, prepare packages of educational information, or assist with data entry, mailings, and other tasks. Volunteers also needed for the walkathon’s planning committee, which raises funds for family support services.
We are looking for people who are interested in getting involved in a great cause, and who have between one and three hours of time per week to donate. Our Ulster County Memory Walk Team Captains recruit team members, hold fundraising events, and help get the word out, while our Ulster County Memory Walk Planning Committee plans the entire walk from soup to nuts.
