The mission of the Phoenicia International Festival of the Voice is to promote the human voice as an instrument of peace, healing and artistic expression, through presenting world class performances of opera, song, world music, baroque, new vocal music and choral music in Phoenicia, New York and surrounding areas.

This year’s festival will take place over 4 days – August 2 – 5, featuring 21 events . Volunteers are needed in the following areas in 2-4 hour shifts:

Festival parking – Thursday 8/2 – Sunday 8/5 – 3 pm – 7 pm
Street greeters – Friday 8/3 – Sunday 8/5 – 10 am – 6 pm
Ushers – Thursday 8/2 – Sunday 8/5 – 10 am – 8 pm
Field maintenance – Thursday 8/2 – Sunday 8/5 – 10 am – 11 pm
Info booth – Friday 8/3 – Sunday 8/5 – 10 am – 6 pm
Stage construction: Thursday, 8/27

Volunteers who work 6 volunteer hours will receive full festival passes. Volunteers receive t-shirts, and a volunteer parking pass.
