New Paltz 4th of July Celebration
Sunday July 1st
at the Ulster County Fairgrounds

The New Paltz Fireworks Committee seeks Volunteers ages 18-100 for the New Paltz 4th of July Celebration on Sunday July 1st at the Ulster County Fairgrounds from 2pm to 10pm. Volunteers will be provided with water and snacks.

Volunteers are needed to help set up before the event which includes table placement, recyclable cans to be placed, garbage duty (gloves provided), tent set up and some decorating.

During the event (after 5pm) people friendly volunteers are needed to meet, greet and ask for donations from the patrons at two gates. It would be nice to have a few groups of two to do this task. During the event volunteers are also needed to help with setting up and taking down band equipment.

After the event volunteers are needed to take care of the trash in the trash cans. (gloves provided). Monday the 2nd the next day at noon at the Ulster County Fairgrounds volunteers are needed to pick up all garbage from both sides of the street. Water will also be provided that day.
