March Hunger in the Hudson Valley: How Can We Help? UlsterCorps assisted with planning and facilitation of Forum at Mohonk fostering in-depth exchange with local workers from Food Pantries, Soup Kitchens, Community Gardens & Farms, and Volunteers. |
April YLDI Participatory Citizenship Project UlsterCorps began mentoring two students from Rondout Valley High School as part of the Youth Leadership Development Institute’s Participatory Citizenship Project. |

May Harvesting a Lifetime Living History Project UlsterCorps coordinated 12 interview sites around the county and brought together 39 volunteers to interview 68 seniors from May-August. |
June Make a Difference Day Summer Festivals UlsterCorps recruited new volunteers and worked to foster a spirit of service in our community with service events at five summer festivals throughout the county. |

July Harvesting a Lifetime Summer Youth Workshop UlsterCorps trained and employed five youth to edit existing Harvesting a Lifetime footage and create 68 DVDs which were given to the senior interviewees at our Summer Celebration. Volunteer videographers and teachers trained the youth in media, editing, interviewing and job-readiness skills. |
August Farms to Food Pantries Project UlsterCorps recruited and coordinated volunteers for 8 farm-based events from August-December which brought over 6000lbs of fresh apples, 4000lbs of corn, 750qts of apples sauce and 50 gallons of cider to 19 local pantries and soup kitchens. |

September Service Learning Project at SUNY New Paltz UlsterCorps mentored six SUNY New Paltz Human Services Program students who assisted in research, grant writing, and prototype development for our Celebration of Service Quilt Project. |
October Ghost Walk of High Falls Rondout High School 11th Grade U.S. History and Drama Club students planned a service learning project to explore local history and engage the community; proceeds benefited UlsterCorps. |

November Hunger Prevention Coalition Forum UlsterCorps assisted with planning and facilitating which helped raise awareness of existing local initiatives and build connections to expand those efforts in 2010. |
December Coat + Winter Wish List Drive Over 400 donations of coats, holiday gifts and other items were collected at our new Storefront for Service and distributed to 11 local agencies. |
