Another way to give: If you receive Required Minimum Distributions (RMD) from your IRA or 401 (k), if you wish, you can make a Qualified Charitable Donation (QCD) directly to UlsterCorps – which is a 501(c)3 qualified charity. The Federal Tax Code allows amounts distributed to a QCD to be counted toward your RMD and can be excluded from your taxable income. The donation is made through your IRA or 401k custodian, and for 2019 it must be transferred to and deposited by the charity by December 31, 2019. Please contact UlsterCorps for our federal ID information. |
