Volunteers needed for a Farm to Food Pantry Parsnip Processing on MLK National Day of Service, Monday January 20th, 2020 from 12-4pm at Ulster County Community Action Committee, Inc., 70 Lindsley Avenue, Kingston. We will be washing, peeling, chopping, roasting, labelling & bagging parsnips donated by the Hudson Valley Farm Hub for distribution to local food pantries, shelters and feeding programs. Volunteers of all ages welcome, and especially needed for peeling & chopping from 12-2pm.
